Benjamin H. Gorman

Benjamin Harold Gorman was born on February 27, 1941 in Lebanon, Missouri to Harold and Edith Gorman. Ben passed away Sunday July 29, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Hammons Gorman and is survived by loving family members in Alaska, Missouri and Texas.

After 23 years of service in the United States Navy and NATO—Ben became a “Pilot Extraordinaire” and enjoyed flying many different types of airplanes. As sole proprietor of Ben Gorman Technical Service he would fly his own plane around the country to wherever his skills were needed. Ben’s absolute favorite “job” was as Private Pilot to his grandchildren, friends and family members.

Ben shared his love of music, travel and fun with all who knew him and he will be missed immensely.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial will be held at:

Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery - San Antonio, Texas

Friday August 17, 2018 - 11AM followed by an informal lunch at a nearby restaurant.
