Jimmy Dawane White passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018 at his home in Buda, Texas at the age of 68 surrounded by his family. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1971 and was a truck driver for 37 years before retiring in 2017.
He is preceded in death by a son, Kyle in 1981, his father, N.C. White, Jr. in 2001, and his mother, Bette J. White in 2014.
Jimmy is also survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Charlene; a son, David and daughter-in-law, Valerie of Howe, Texas; daughter, Jeana and her husband, Matthew Anderson; and two precious granddaughters, Kyla and Emma of Kyle, Texas. He is also survived by a sister, Judy and husband, Darrell Walker of Canton, Texas; a brother, David White and wife, Janie of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; a sister, Shelly Crabtree and fiance, Bobby Thompson of Howe, Texas. Jimmy is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
A military service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on May 3, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
