Milton L. Thompson Jr. passed away early morning December 30 in his home that he loved in Wimberley, TX after his battle with cancer.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Karen Thompson. His incredible life filled with stories of adventure will forever be cherished by his daughter, Alysha, his son, Tre, his granddaughter, Tara, and his sister, Kathleen.
Milt was born November 10, 1947 in Houston, TX to the late Milton and Doris Thompson. At 19 years old, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard and spent the next 30 years devoting his life to serving his country, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer stationed in Mobile, AL. He was an avid woodworker and fisherman, but above all else, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.
A celebration of life will be held - we will notify friends and family with more details.
