Our brother Richard Garcia 75, life long resident of San Marcos Tx. sadly left us suddenly on 12-3-2022.

Richard served in the United States Army from 1969-1972 and was stationed at fort Polk Louisiana.

Richard loved life and enjoyed golf, fishing, cooking, watching and attending sport events, hanging out with family and friends at local hangouts “restless winds” aka Chances R and Cats and to see his great nephews and nieces and would always have a treat ready for them. Richard was a great cook and would prepare meals for the holidays, he made a mean salsa and was always checking to see if anyone needed any. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Seferino Garcia and Isabel Serna Garcia and  survived by his brother Eddie Garcia (Frances) and sister Gloria Sustaita (Joe), nephews Jacob Garcia, Joshua  Garcia, Christopher Cain,Jeremy Sustaita, Matthew Sustaita, Stephen Sustaita, niece Melissa Sustaita. He had 7 great nephews and 2 great nieces, and his extended “ Windy” family.  There will be a graveside service on January 17,2023 at 11:00 am at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Martindale,Texas.
